The college is instrumental in assisting students in getting employment. Such support comes in the form of information and recommendation. In the UK, there are a number of job centres set up to assist people to find meaningful employment. It is imperative that overseas students understand that they would not be entitled to any form of public funding, but nothing is wrong with applying. Although you are not encouraged to work full-time, jobs are available that you can pursue on a part-time basis. The college will give students various letters that will increase their chance of landing a job, such as:
- Bank account reference letter
- Proof of enrolment letter
- Recommendation letter (depending on your length of stay with the college)
In cases of Teacher Training courses or Healthcare programmes, the college will assist students in gaining placements with recognised and related institutions so that they can gain hands-on experience.
