The well-being of our students and staff is essential to the success of the college. Our students must have a voice if we are to make progress. Change is a must and we often experience change through the inputs of our students. We take their interests and demands seriously which helps to shape us into the organisation we have become today. The college has an appointed Student Welfare Officer (SWO) whose sole responsibility to act on behalf of students to ensure that their expressions do not go unheeded. The SWO acts in an unbiased way in order to guarantee justice and fair play.
The Welfare department deals primarily with the concerns of the students and try to find amicable solutions to their problems. It champions a number of areas that determines the direction of the college based on the demands of the students. Some such areas are:
Forms Policies and Procedures
Any form, policy and practice imposed by the college is vetted by the SWO and agreed with the interest of the students in mind.
