How do I get to the College?
The college is easily accessed by the London Underground network as it is only 5 minutes walk from Kenton Station on the Bakerloo Line. The college is approximately 12.7 miles form London (Heathrow) airport and 45.8 miles from London (Gatwick) airport. If you wish to be picked up at the airport, this can be arranged at a competitive rate. Should you have someone else pick you up, then there is a map on our website www.londoncms.com that will help you to get to the college. You should know also that someone at the college would be more than happy to guide you to the venue if you contact us by phone.
Do you provide airport pick-up service?
We do offer to pick up prospective students at any of the two major airports, but this is usually pre arranged as we would need information such as the arrival destination, flight number, estimated time of arrival, date of arrival etc. A car would then be dispatched to the location and would take the student to either their residence or to the college.

It is important that you have a clear idea of the likely overall cost of studying in the UK, not just tuition fees but all the everyday expenses you will have. In addition to tuition fees, you will need money to cover accommodation and living expenses. The figures given below offer a guide only, and the amount of money you actually need, will vary a great deal, depending on your lifestyle and personal tastes. Special reductions are offered for students at many shops, theatres, cinemas, museums and galleries; and special student fares are available on buses and trains – so don’t forget to ask before you buy. |
How much money should I bring with me?
This is dependent on a number of factors, the country from which you are travelling, the value of its currency and your reason(s) for having the money. Again, it is necessary to check with the local authorities to establish your right and if in doubt, avoid lump sum cash.
Do you have any scholarship or policy on recognition of excellence?
The London College of Management Studies has the ethos of promoting academic excellence and distinctions. With this philosophy, the college strives to encourage the effort of the students in several ways in order to imbue them with the knowledge and skills they will require for a brighter future. To this end, the college has put in place the following policy of recognition that aims at promoting hard work and the best output from the students. This policy is to recognise outstanding results, both internally and externally and to encourage hardworking students at the end each Module by awarding them with a Certificate of Excellence. The high achievers who are consistent throughout the year will be honoured at the Convocation Proceedings at the end of the academic year. Furthermore, the students who fall in such lists of high achievers will be given £50 discount of fees for a module and if they are consistent, they will move to the next category styled “The Best of the Best”. This category will get a 25% discount if they decide to continue on the next course at LCMS. The following criteria will be used for selection of such candidates: The best performers This first category of the best performers will be made up of the top three students with distinctions in grades are ‘A’ (75 – 89) and ‘A+’ (90 – 100) in all modules of the Semester. |
The Best of Best Academic Performers Achievers
The best of the best academic award will be given to the best overall achievers from each category in the total of the best academic achievers put together at the end of the academic year.
